Sri Vasavi Public School

Our History

Sri Vasavi Public School was established in the year 2000 in Hiriyur, and is run by the Sri Vagdevi Educational Association (R). What began as a primary school on Lakkavvanahalli Road has grown, over 25 years, into a full school offering education from Nursery through 10th Std, guided by the motto Sathyam Jnanam Anantham – Truth, Knowledge, Infinity. Today the school is home to over 500 students and a faculty of nearly 50 teaching and support staff, and remains committed to providing accessible, values-based education to the children of Hiriyur and the surrounding region.

Vision: To be a school that every family in Hiriyur trusts to nurture their child into a confident, capable and value-driven individual, ready for the world beyond the classroom.

Mission: To provide quality, affordable education from Nursery through 10th Std in a safe and supportive environment; to build strong foundations in language, science and mathematics; and to instil the values reflected in our motto, Sathyam Jnanam Anantham – truthfulness, a love of learning, and boundless curiosity.

Management

The school is managed by the Sri Vagdevi Educational Association (R), Hiriyur. Day-to-day academic administration is headed by the Head Mistress, Smt. Sumithra R.
